This episode features an unique shot of Sam and Elvis getting in Jupiter, instead of using the clip where Sam and Elvis get in Jupiter and then Penny joins them as was used in Bug Eyed Boy from Venus. At the start of the tape, there is an advertisement for BBC Toybox magazines and the videos ' Toybox 1' and 'The Best of Noddy'. At the start of the tape, there is a promo advertising The Hero Next Door, Lost Cat, Sam's Day Off, Snow Business, Norman's Pitfall and All in a Good Cause. However, just after the Australian Classification logos were changed, it was re-released with a carry case and the new classification logo, while the disc is the exact same.

On the Cover sleeve, BBC Video forgot to include Lost Ring in the episode listings, however, images from that episode are seen on the cover art. This was the first UK Fireman Sam VHS release to feature the Bumper Films copyright caption at the end of every episode. Episodes comprise 'Fun Run', 'Trouble and Squeak', 'Carnival of Junk', 'Birthday Surprise' and 'Norman's Invisible Friend'. This is the only episode to feature the shot of the turntable turning Jupiter around from the front in its entirety, only cutting to the next scene when Jupiter is almost in the correct position. Earlier releases of this DVD in Australia had a Full Size Amaray DVD Case and a transparent G classification logo.At the start of the tape, there is a promo slide advertising the Treasure Hunt, Norman's Tricky Day, Spot of Bother and Bentley the Robot videos. Not only that, this is the very last Fireman Sam video to be officially released on VHS in Australia, as well as the only Series 5 video to be released on VHS in that country.

This episode last aired on 28 December 2007 at 13:20 PM on CBeebies, making it the last ever episode of Fireman Sam to air on that channel. The New Adventures of Fireman Sam: Disaster For Dinner and a 'William's Wish Wellingtons' video are advertised at the beginning of the tape. Unfortunately, Norman's cheating ways has put James (who has twisted his ankle) and the other competitors in danger. The Cover sleeve features a promo image from the episode, ' Lost Ring', despite the fact that 'Lost Ring' does not feature on the tape. The box art would later be re-used for Fields of Fire (AUS DVD), despite not featuring the episode Fun Run.On the original release, the Bumper Films copyright was edited out of every episode, but on the 1993 re-release, the copyright appeared at the end of Bentley the Robot.
