About this deal

I wasn't thrilled with the art. At the beginning, a lot of the sand masters looked alike, especially since they were wearing white, hooded outfits and you couldn't see their faces well enough. Some of the scenic illustrations of the world was pretty cool.

White Sand Omnibus? Feels Anyone heard from dynamite about White Sand Omnibus? Feels

Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians · The Scrivener's Bones · The Knights of Crystallia · The Shattered Lens · The Dark Talent · Bastille Versus the Evil Librarians Oh, and why would a character who has grown up on a world where the sun is always in the same place in the sky, never moving, even have to narrate about that to himself? He's never known anything different, and he's not explaining it to anyone but the readers sooooo... that's just some really clunky exposition delivery right there. The entire thing is like that too. That's what I meant when I said that there's way too much narration to explain all of the worldbuilding instead of working it into the story in some way.The characters were okay. Kenton, the main protagonist I would say, is pretty well developed. I liked how you know his motivations and struggles. It wasn't brushed off, instead it was used to the progression of the story. The side characters were fine, nothing really worth talking futher about. It's time for another Secrets in Stained Glass story! This is an Eliane and Dier story, set before the main series. We hope you enjoy! You can see all Secrets in Stained Glass content in our tag, and our last bit of main content will be an over three hour long video of some of the cast discussing Secrets in Stained Glass on Sunday, September 3rd, and on September 9th, we will have a Q&A stream! And so I read it and really enjoyed the setup. You know how it is. A kid full of willpower and drive and virtually no support from his society or his father. Stay down. Don't try. You're weak. Khriss was *completely* recharacterized. Her prologue and new scenes frame her as a main character alongside Kenton, and the book really feels like it's as much her story as his.

White Sand Omnibus, coming in June Indiegogo campaign for White Sand Omnibus, coming in June

When I first heard there will be omnibus of this series I couldn't wait and held off on purchasing the separate volumes. This book allegedly contains many improvements. Kriss's notes were cool and added explanations of how magic in this world works. I know that the prologue is also exclusive to this edition. But if anything else was improved I can't imagine the original. They should've spent the resources on redrawing the last chapter of volume 2 which is atrocious. Don't know the reason why it was done by different artist but the other two artists managed to capture the atmosphere quite well. This chapter was full of clinically clean low budget looking drawings which are also sadly present in many other comic books nowadays. No wonder everyone (including me) prefers manga. I was also honored to be able to complete the final three volumes of The Wheel of Time, beginning with The Gathering Storm, using Robert Jordan’s notes.

White sand omnibus delayed again : r/Cosmere - Reddit White sand omnibus delayed again : r/Cosmere - Reddit

But candidly, we cannot afford to lose more money by giving money away. I know many think that digital is cheap and easy, but it’s not. It really is not. If it was a simple solution, then I would be for it, but it’s not. Khriss was insufferable though her character improved towards the end. Instead Ais replaced her as one of the worst characters I've ever seen. I hated her inner dialogue. It was so cringe. It reminded me of Warbreaker which I used to consider by far the worst Cosmere novel. Well, now it has a companion.
