Seborrhoeic eczema can affect people of any age, though in children you probably know it better as ‘cradle cap’. Around 4% of the population have seborrhoeic eczema, with dandruff affecting up to half of all adults. It’s more common in men, particularly those around 30 years old. For women, the peak time of developing the condition it is around 40 years of age. If you have another skin condition called psoriasis, you may find you also have seborrhoeic eczema at the same time. Varicose eczema (stasis, venous or gravitational eczema) E45 cream is a white cream containing White Soft Paraffin 14.5% w/w, Light Liquid Paraffin 12.6% w/w and Anhydrous Lanolin (Medilan®) 1% w/w as active ingredients and also Glyceryl Monostearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Sodium Cetostearyl Sulphate, Carbomer, Methyl Hydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Hydroxybenzoate (E216), Fire hazard. Do not smoke or go near naked flames; clothing& bedding with this product dried on them can catch fire easily. DERMATOLOGICALLY TESTED– E45’s formulation is dermatologically tested and does not contain any unnecessary colour or fragrances. It is suitable for everyday use on dry and sensitive skin for the whole family, including infants over the age of 1 month. You can apply the cream all over the body, including the face, for soft and supple skin. The cream has a low viscosity with watery consistency which can be thoroughly applied on the skin and is easily absorbed. DUAL ACTION TREATMENT - E45 Eczema Repair is a scientifically proven emollient cream, designed to treat symptoms of Eczema. With omega fatty acids it helps repair the skin barrier and keep it moisturised for 24 hours. Use ‘ecoballs’ in place of laundry detergent or, if using detergent, do a double rinse cycle to remove any traces of washing powder. You can use our bath oil in the bath or shower according to your needs. For Adults, use the measuring cap and pour 15ml into a full bath of warm water. For Children, pour 5-10ml into a small bath of warm water. Relax in bath for at least 10 minutes. For shower, pour onto a sponge and massage lightly onto wet skin. You don’t need to use soap, just our bath oil to gently cleanse the skin. Take care not to slip if using in the bath and gently pat skin dry with a towel.
