It is important to also be aware of parking restrictions in the busy city of Liverpool, which are mostly found on bus routes and main roads to keep the traffic moving during peak times, as well as around shopping areas to provide parking for shop customers. Restrictions in residential areas make schools, junctions and crossings safer.
