Product Specifications Board Type We have tested the two versions of these boards extensively, and you will see a lot of personal pictures of us on these two boards. The latest Cruise Carbon 2023 versionis the DARKER SUP while the old Cruise version is in BLUE. In this review below, I will show you how we experienced these paddle boards. However, like most all-rounders, it’s ok at everything but great at nothing so you will outgrow this board at some point, this is when you decide if you want a tourer, race or wave SUP. If you’re already at a more experienced level, then I’d recommend looking at something a little more exciting, like the Bluefin Rouge Tourer. The Bluefin Cruise boards have always been among the stiffest and most resilient inflatable SUPs, but we can’t advise you to push them to the limit for best performance.
The neoprene padding on the inside of the Velcro ankle attachment makes it feel comfortable around your ankle and will not start irritating. You get color options if you decide to buy the Atoll. The storage area is also a bit bigger and you can bring more luggage. Notice that the Atoll has more D-rings too. The material construction of the Bluefin Cruise Tandem is called “Double-Layer-Dropstitch”. This means that the outer shell is made of 2 laminated layers of PVC (Double-Layer). The rails (sides) are also made of 2 layers, so they are robust against possible damage and support the stiffness of the board. The Bluefin offers a kayak conversion kit and it costs less than the Atoll. It also has a five-year warranty while the Atoll has a two-year warranty.

In my last review, I commented on 2 things I disliked about the Bluefin, the way it looks and the fin mechanism. I’ll keep the fin mechanism in here, but I personally think the Bluefin Cruise range looks great now.
In contrast to the standard version, the Carbon models are equipped with 2 separate air chambers (“Double-Chamber”). With dimensions of 325 cm (10.8′) in length and 83.5 (33″) cm in width, the Bluefin Cruise 10’8 corresponds to the typical all-rounder. The Bluefin Cruise 12, on the other hand, is a touring board that measures 366 cm x 83 cm (12′ x 32″). Dual action – this time we were able to use the pump to deflate the board as well as inflate it. Hurrah for this Bluefin!free D-rings: For attaching the included coiled leash (spiral-shaped safety line), there is a solid D-ring at the tail, under the rear handle. 4 more are located on the sides and provided with a labeled rubber patch for an optional kayak seat. This is the best paddleboarding experience I have had so far, and it is hard to imagine that something better will come along soon, especially for a price in this range. None of it disappoints, and there is so much included that you really never need anything again to keep paddle boarding. ( Unless you break stuff, but I generally only do that only with computers;)).
The D-rings aren’t missing either. Created for providing paddlers with the on-board storage, they are strategically placed along the rails of the board for comfortably attaching, say, the kayak seat that comes with it. The Bluefin Cruise 10’8 inflatable paddleboard is one of the toughest SUPs in the market. The construction and materials used are of high quality. In a way, the Bluefin Cruise Tandem rides like a slower touring board. Due to the length, it has a really good straight line, but with the width of 36 inches, the board slows down much faster than narrow touring or race paddle boards.The basic colors of the board are white and various shades of blue. In the area of the top, the manufacturer has applied its logo. The underside is white and has a blue design band running down the middle with the Bluefin SUP lettering.
