About this deal

Updated text for accuracy with Test Bench 1.2, including in the Response Time and Console Compatibility tests. When enabling ELMB, the brightness is too low for me even in a very dark room. Update: I've since enabled ELMB. What I did to combat the brightness drop is set it to 100% brightness first, then enabled ELMB, and finally set Shadow Boost to Level 2. It was plenty usable after that.

Although this figure is a consequence of the HDR support, we can’t dispute that it is a high-end feature.I don't have an RTX 3080 yet to push more frames haha :'( My RTX 2070 Super is great, but an upgrade is definitely needed for this type of monitor. Maybe I'll wait for an RTX 4080 to pair with my i9-10850K @ 5.0GHz. Size class of the display as declared by the manufacturer. Often this is the rounded value of the actual size of the diagonal in inches. would greatly improve visual smoothness, which will benefit not just gamers in their games but also casual users.

Information about the maximum horizontal viewing angle, within which the image on the screen is of acceptable quality. The static contrast shows the ratio between the brightest and the darkest color, which the display can reproduce simultaneously, for example, within one and the same frame/scene. You can technically also use only ELMB by turning on ELMB Sync on + Adaptive Sync Off. This is only advisable if the game is running at fixed FPS (120hz = game is constnatly 120fps, or 240hz = 240fps) If the game's FPS fluctuates during this mode, you'll experience double-images/artifacting. I only have two complaints. The first is that the ELMB tends to disable itself when the program or input is changed, so you have to re-enable it every time. The second is that whenever an input is empty, the monitor will always switch to an input that is active, which gets annoying if you are just waiting on a restart or something. The most widely used panels are those with 6, 8, and 10 bits for each of the RGB components of the pixel. They provide 18-, 24-, and 30-bit color, respectively. There are various variations, such as the games you wish to play, but it can all be boiled down to the above-mentioned issue. Added that the ASUS ROG Strix XG27UQR is a 4k monitor with higher pixel density in Resolution and Size.

Information about the number of pixels on the horizontal and vertical side of the screen. A higher resolution allows the display of a more detailed and of higher quality image.Information about whether there is a possibility for wall mounting according to the VESA Mounting Interface Standard (MIS).

I've used NVIDIA filters to increase the brightness to compensate, but again, I really only bought this to play competitive games at a high refresh rate. I switch to my PG27UQ 4K monitor for proper GSYNC/visual fidelityThe 1080p resolution is a popular choice for gaming screens, owing to its affordability and compatibility with older graphics cards. There are various panel technologies. Each has its own specific features - viewing angles, color reproduction, response time, brightness/contrast, production cost, etc. The image quality depends directly on the type of the display panel used.
