I was completely engrossed in this novel from the very beginning and never once did I want to put it down. The historical circumstances were interesting, I actually liked the character development even in her darker moments, and I loved her spirit, independence, loyalty and zest for life. She’s definitely the character I connect with the most so far in this series, I see myself a lot in her and I think that’s part of why I enjoyed this book so much compared to the first two. Aurelia still had plenty of time to find an appropriate suitor in London and would have been none the wiser.Situated in the South East, its scenery is dominated by farmland, woodland, old market towns, and many stately homes. Since it’s almost four years since I read this book I have to admit I don’t remember the answer to your question any more – sorry.

Great Britain has such a rich history, and has one of the longest reigning monarchies in modern history.
