The K7 is a 65% board available with Gateron Low Profile switches and Keychron Low Profile Optical switches. The RGB backlight helps with typing in the dark, along with the compact design make sit one of the best keyboards I've ever had. UPDATE: I found that although the keyboard came with the Mac keyset installed, the switch on the left side of the keyboard was set to `WindowsAndroid`. I had no experience of mechanical switches but as I am quite a heavy typer I thought the extra actuation force would be the best to go with.

The Keychron K2 keyboard is a mechanical keyboard with a QWERTY keyboard layout and Nordic language support. Well, you can change the lighting options by pressing the lightbulb key in the upper right corner, and you can also lock your favourite lighting effect by pressing the fn+L+lightbulb key for six seconds. I need to get used to having a `del` key again, rather than the clunky `fn-backspace` that Apple has forced me to use all these years, especially since the `fn` key is down below my right pinky rather than my left. The keys are easy to change with the bundled in keycap puller, the RGB looks nice (although I barely have this on) and the weightfeel of the keyboard is solid with the aluminum with no flex.That said, we tested each of these Keyboards with Gateron Brown switches that don't require much force to actuate and provide great typing quality with good tactile feedback. Moreover, if you’re a Mac user, get the K2 V2 instead of spending your hard-earned money on a keyboard that is anything but magical.

The keys are light to press, and despite having a high profile, it shouldn't be too tiring typing on them for long periods. I first got to know about Keychron K2 a few years ago and at that time the keyboard was not available officially in India. Engineered with double-shot keycap set allows backlight shine through the legends with a subtle feeling.The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box, which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.

These double-shot PBT keycaps have a similar height to the OEM profile and has an SA-like shape, and we named it the OSA (OEM spherical angled) keycap. Hot-swappable means to customize your typing experience without soldering, just pop in the switches you want, and its done. The V Series keyboards have a better build quality and a larger range of customization as they have a hot-swappable PCB and come with an included toolkit. They're also compatible with the VIA companion software, and they have added layers of sound-dampening foam to reduce typing noise, all of which are features that the original K Series lacks.

The major difference is that the K3 V2 is a low-profile board with low-profile switches with a much shorter pre-travel distance than the switches on the K2 V2.
