I really loved Hamilton's character development, and how he was able to learn and grow throughout the book. Because I was so engrossed in this book that I thought to myself a dang I’ve been reading forever - and then I’d look down and I’d be at 48% 😂. Locked up first in juvie, and then at Mountain Point Military Academy, he spent three long, hard years paying for his crime. And wouldn’t you know, the one person who knows about my case of temporary rebellion is the last one I’d ever want to find out. The whole ending was just some big drama, like the authors were forcing a situation, I did not appreciate it, all the quitting school stuff, so lame and childish (because she came back once everything was fine, so it was not like she didn't belong there) And the way Micha (Gwen's little brother) had to be the one to say all that stuff that she should have realized. There was a good portion of smut, - I’d give it about 3 chillis - I found myself constantly getting butterflies and the plot flowed nicely. T. It’s not surprising that these stories are populated by rich kids, though the problems of the privileged are always a bit hard to stomach. What Sugar Voss wants is simple; to get the hell away from her family, the little town of Briar Cliff, and to be left alone.
