It starts off feeling a bit young because it's quite sweet, but the incense gives it a slightly darker vibe. I just started my body mist collection a few months ago and got this last week at the recent SAS in body mist and it is my first time to smell this scent. It is a very sophisticated scent and paired with the body wash, creams and lotions, you will get complimented on it all day long. So a long time ago I smelled more of a warm, ambery, tropical floral, and now I can get that blackberry frozen yogurt undertone.

I was ready for something heavier than your typical white floral scent, but I also didn't want to smell like a straight spice bomb. It’s delicious, and now that I’ve read the reviews, I can see the berry yogurt they’re talking about! This means that this scent adjusts to each person individually like some expensive black velvet gloves. It works so well with the other notes, keeps the fragrance from being too sweet or overly rosy floral, and all without being overpowering itself. Scent lasts for days on my clothes too, but recently I went to a friends house and she asked if I came from a Hookah Bar? also, i usually dont like rose perfume because it smells stale and old, however the rose in here isnt detectable for me. I've only smelled Midnight Fantasy a handful of times and I have to agree it smells similar, but I don't own it enough to compare further. The blackberry and plum give it a dark juiciness, and the amber and vanilla mix into a sugary cake scent.

If you want a scent that's similar to this but sweeter, go with Midnight Fantasy from Britney Spears. This is much more complex-I do get the berry notes but there is a warmth behind them-mostly amber,balsam and musk. I keep smiling all day whenever I catch a whiff of it, which makes me sometimes wonder why I keep bothering with hundreds other perfumes. I cannot imagine myself using up a full bottle of this fragrance, but I sure will use up what little remains in the bottle I received. Let's steer clear of the ultimate claim of those who don't like it: that it smells like cough syrup or car freshener.

And CK One Shock for men is similar, except Dark Kiss has more vanilla, and also a touch of caramel (probably the amber and balsam together), while Shock flaunts cherry and basil. i feel like if youre someone who likes mysterious, niche fragrances that are somewhat mystical and fantasy themed, you'd do well with this mist. If fragrances bearing "sweet"-ness do not work for you, you may not enjoy this* < Can't repeat that enough.

I only have the body mist in this and I loved this when it first came out, but for some reason now when I spray on it turns to an almost dusty offensive smell on my arm after awhile. My curiosity over Dark Kiss has been satisfied and it sucks that it doesn't mesh with my personal tastes. Personally, I think the reason some don’t like it is because the vanilla isn’t sweet, but more of a RAW vanilla, like vanilla bean.I just purchased this and after a full day I smell like the Strawberry Shortcake doll named "Cherry Cuddler". It's smokey with rich plum and berry undertones and as the time wears on it evolves in a rose musk fashion into a truly sensual creation. I'm really surprised at the smoky waft I get from this, especially for a fragrance that preteens seem to have worn. I find I prefer wearing this during the fall and winter, and I wear it both during the day and at night. it's sooooo intoxicating, mysterious, I mean it's sweet but at the same time is some bitter, definitely my signature fragrance, I always carried with me the travel size body lotion and everyone who smelled me was so enchanted by this amazing fragrance and the long-lasting it´s incredible too!
