About this deal

After a nearly fatal heart attack, Randal is propelled to make a movie about his life working at Quick Stop and Mooby’s, inviting everyone to participate, including Dante who serves as both producer and actor. He turns to his friends, Dante Hicks, Elias Grover, Becky Scott and even Jay and Silent Bob, to help him. Though some of this covers well-trodden territory, “Decades” nonetheless offers a good overview and manages a surprising mix of new details along the way, even if it goes heavy on more self-praise toward the end. AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM The DC Super Hero’s Action-Packed Adventure Debuts on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD on March 12th!

Starring Brian O’Halloran, Jeff Anderson, Trevor Fehrman, Austin Zajur, Jason Mewes, Rosario Dawson, and Kevin Smith. I've grown up watching all of Kevin Smith's films, but the OG Clerks has remained my favourite from him (and easily in my Top 2 favourite films alongside John Carpenter's Halloween). Next comes 3 Decades of Clerks, a one-hour, 15-minute, 15-second program that involves Smith, O’Halloran, Anderson, Mewes, Dawson, Ghigliotti, Destro, Schwalbach, Monsanto, Clerks/ Clerks II producer Scott Mosier, Clerks/ Clerks II cinematographer Dave Kline, and independent film consultant Bob Hawk. By the time Randal's movie is done, and the audience gets a glimpse at some of the footage, it's clear that something really special has been captured both in- and out-of-story. By using this service you thereby indemnify this Company, its employees, agents and affiliates against any loss or damage, in whatever manner, howsoever caused. It should be noted that the audio commentary has been programmed as its own separate version, meaning that none of the other audio or subtitle options are available while listening to it. And they’ve released Rachel, Rachel (1968) on Blu-ray too, also mastered from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative.

In all seriousness, I hope it is at least 4 discs total, so that Clerks 2 still includes the bonus features disc.

Like the second film, I didn’t quite expect the film’s third act to really hit emotionally and remind us of the better work Smith always shows signs of being able to pull off. It’s not a poor presentation by any means, and the black and white portions are actually refreshing with better visual textures to work with. However, too much of the material just echoes prior glories, as the self-referential Smith fails to find much new to say, and the lines tend to feel cliché within the Smith universe. The reproduction, modification, distribution, or republication of the content without permission is strictly prohibited. Stop, a production that will of course include many of the other characters who have been seen in the two previous Clerks outings.

Clerks III was captured by cinematographer Learan Kahanov digitally using Red 8K Digital Cinema cameras and finished as a 4K Digital Intermediate in the aspect ratio of 1.Clerks III is presented on Blu-ray courtesy of Lionsgate Films with an AVC encoded 1080p transfer in 1. This standard Blu-ray looks best you could ask for, sharp, good color saturation and plenty of easy to see details, patterns and textures. Clerks III” is the unexpected third installment of Smith’s study of minimum-wage shenanigans, and it doesn’t really have an ending, reflecting a picture that spends most of the run time trying to understand why it even exist . It’s not a mind-blowing surround experience by any means and doesn’t do much for the overhead speakers, but the majority of the Atmos track offers consistently pleasing dialogue exchanges and excellent low end support for music and score. For more about Clerks III and the Clerks III Blu-ray release, see Clerks III Blu-ray Review published by Jeffrey Kauffman on December 4, 2022 where this Blu-ray release scored 3.

I love Kevin Smith's first batch of movies, but really haven't cared much for what he's put out over the last 10 years.s “Clerks” had a very appropriate ending, offering a sudden resolution to a crude comedy that was more about scenes than a narrative journey. For Smith) This is much more restrained, tighter and focused than much of what he’s done in the last decade. With every passing year, it appears that 2008’s Zack and Miri Make a Porno will end up as Smith’s last decent movie.
