It has been developed to offer an alternative to the more traditional webbing muzzles, which don't suit every horse. Made from durable UV-resistant plastic, the Shires Greenguard Grazing Muzzle allows unrestricted breathing and drinking and has been designed with vets to reduce grass intake without causing frustration with the use of plenty of holes. Grazing muzzles are proven to aid the management of controlled or restricted feeding programs and special diets. insert is compatible with post January 2022 modified Cob and Full muzzles, (recognizable by the 6 slots for holding the plates). Please note, as of summer 2021 the Pony size Greenguard Muzzle has changed the design slightly - it now has open corners to prevent pinching.The Greenguard Headcollar has an additional strap which runs down the front of the face to prevent this from happening.
