About this deal

The phrase "Mind the gap" was coined in around 1968 for a planned automated announcement, after it had become impractical for drivers and station attendants to warn passengers. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). Some newer Métro trains also play this announcement in Italian, English, German, Japanese and Spanish. Our standard vinyl comes with an advanced 'air-release' system which means any air bubbles can easily be pushed out by gently smoothing the face of the sticker from the centre to the outside edges. We use the latest printing technologies to print directly onto the surface of the sign and we do not use vinyl or stickers to make our signs!

Recognised the world over as the symbol for England’s capital, the London Underground ‘roundel’ is as captivating as it is iconic.

It also can be heard in Chennai Metro in two languages (English and Tamil): " அன்புகூர்ந்து இடைவெளியை கவனத்தில் கொள்ளவும்" "Please Mind the gap". What you are viewing here is an original MIND THE GAP Sign which has been handmade into a vintage style sign using composite aluminium panel and printed vinyl which has been laminated for additional durability.
