ARTISTRY PRO TIP: Sun Stalk'r is great for warming up - not necessarily deepening - your skin tone giving it life! A few years ago Cover Girl's Queen Collection gave us Q120 Natural Hue Bronzer in Ebony Bronze, which I owned. Spreading awareness about a disease that not a lot of people (medical professionals included) have heard of is important to me.

Rihanna dreamt of an easy-to-use powder bronzer that truly works for everyone, so she created Sun Stalk’r in 9 versatile shades that bring out the warmth in all skin tones, from the fairest to the deepest! Summer is around the corner (despite the inconsistent Canadian weather…) and although I use bronzer year-round, I go in on my bronzer when the weather warms up. A longwear, transfer-resistant bronzing powder in 9 groundbreaking shades, each carefully curated to bring all skin tones to life with an instant sun-soaked glow. From the beginning of the video I could tell it was not going to do much, if anything at all for her. While this bronzer seemed to work on deep skin tones as this Fenty promotional video illustrates, that was not the case with many users in reality.

It is most definitely a red toned matte bronzer shade, so much so I started to think it was more of a blush than a bronzer. It's either highlight, blush and contour, with bronzer (in the true sense) not part of our vocabulary. As you can tell in the picture below, I’ve applied the Fenty Beauty bronzer in Mocha Mami almost all over my face to give myself a warm summer glow. The only annoyance is that the mirrored packaging gets dirty easily – I had to polish it for these photos – but honestly, I’ll take it for the gorgeous rose gold situation.

Currently, as my skin transitions from its winter shade to summer shade, I’ve been mixing the two, which leads my to my next point: I really, really hope that they expand this range! I’ve got the two darkest shades, and if you’re much darker than me (and I wear Fenty 390 in the winter and 420 in the summer, for reference), you’re not going to find a shade that’ll work for you as a bronzer. The knowledge and technology to work with dark skin should be universal in the skincare industry, but unfortunately that isn’t the case.Plus, it’s backed by mango and papaya fruit extracts to help give skin a natural, healthy-looking glow with every swipe. If you are dark skinned with a neutral or cool tone, according to my observation, you would get a reddish flush to your skin when exposed to heat. For my round face, I lightly apply the product in upward motions towards the highest part of my cheek bones. In terms of performance, these are lovely – velvety and blendable, it’s hard to overdo it with these because they’re buildable and easy to blend.
