The food was amazing and the restaurant staff greeted us by name making the visit even more personal. You gotta learn where’s the wind blowing to position yourself properly - but good luck in the lobby before or after dinner! The trail climbs steadily to a pass at 4,200 m, beyond which you will descend to a beautiful canyon, where a picnic lunch is served. If you love the ocean and the sun in the middle of Canadian winter and don’t want your winter piece of paradise to cost you an arm and a leg - this is a place to be post-COVID.

Adjacent resort was half more expensive, and 5 stars, but their beach is almost non-existent and in some places there's a stench - possibly from the outflow of beach toilet. I can read about people saying the hotel was boring, and this is because there was a large group of older Germans that kept complaining the music was too loud and the staff was so accommodating, kept lowering the music. This wonderful hotel is a perfect place to spend a week and take advantage of the many activities they have on offer. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.The hotel also offers a series of food experiences, from dining in the hotel's wine cellar to cooking demonstrations.
